The Kindergarten Center recently celebrated taking pride in being a Kindergarten CUB during CUBS WEEK! As a part of the Kindergarten Center’s School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, there is a week in the spring devoted to reviewing the school-wide (CUBS) rules. Each day there was a special video announcement and a fun activity or incentive was presented to encourage the students to make good choices at school. The Kindergarteners sang the CUBS ARE WE song, classes earned a Principal’s Golden ticket, there were mystery helpers giving extra paw prints, Star Students were nominated to have lunch with the principal, and students and teachers participated in a pep rally with a special guest, the Kindergarten Bear mascot! What a fun week.
